• Perform routine tests to obtain data for diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide accurate and timely results.
• Care for patients according to age/developmental level.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff, physicians, and nurses.
• Access to protected health information limited to duties.

Responsibilities

• Obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases by performing routine tests
• Recognize problems and make simple corrections
• Provide accurate and timely results
• Provide care according to the developmental level and age of patient served
• Work closely with all laboratory personnel, physicians, and nursing staff
• Have considerable contact with patients and the public
• Access to protected health information is limited to the minimum necessary to perform the duties of the job.
