Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures in Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Blood Bank, Point of Care Testing, Urinalysis and Microbiology.
• Facilitates positive customer service throughout the department/facility.
• Responds timely to customer needs.
• Recognizes and communicates variances with physicians regarding patient data.
• Builds collaborative professional relationships to support patient care needs.
• Performs routine maintenance and QC/QA tasks.
• Ensures equipment and systems function properly and maintains readiness for accreditation.
• Mentors staff and students as applicable.
