Pay range is $27.77 to $37.00 hourly with overtime as needed. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Biology/ Chemistry/ Medical Technology and 1+ year of laboratory testing experience or an MLS degree; ASCP/AMT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Technology.
• 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing.
• Perform routine and complex procedures per SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Report accurate test results to support patient care.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality control.
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies.
• Assist with processing of specimens when needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and PPE usage.
