Job summary

Labcorp in Seattle, WA is seeking a Medical Lab Technician to join the team. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rotating weekends, at Cherry Hill Hospital Stat Lab.

Responsibilities include validating specimens, performing tests per SOPs, maintaining instruments, and reporting results promptly. Minimum qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Life Science with ASCP or AMT certification preferred; strong attention to detail and communication skills are

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in Life Science or Medical Technology.
• Certification via ASCP or AMT is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine acceptability of specimens for testing according to criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures per SOPs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper function.
• Prepare, test and evaluate reagents or controls.
• Report accurate test results to support patient care.
