Job summary

Vista Oncology is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform manual and automated routine blood tests, specimen preparation, and quality control. You will operate centrifuges, hematology analyzers, and point-of-care devices in a fast-paced lab environment.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, equipment maintenance, compliance with safety and privacy regulations, and thorough documentation. A minimum of two years in a lab setting is preferred, with strong MS Office and LIS proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a lab setting.
• Proficient with MS Office and laboratory information systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated routine blood tests and specimen preparation.
• Collect and analyze body fluids with proper quality control procedures.
• Operate laboratory equipment including centrifuges, hematology analyzers, and point-of-care devices.
• Maintain logs and documentation; troubleshoot instrument issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support other duties as assigned within a multi-site laboratory setting.
