Job summary

American Oncology Network is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform routine blood tests, quality control, and specimen handling in a multi-site lab setting. You will operate hematology analyzers and point-of-care devices, ensuring accurate results and compliant documentation.

The role requires at least two years in a clinical lab, strong teamwork, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Monday–Friday, with standard business hours, on-site in Houston area.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a lab setting.
• Knowledge of quality control and specimen handling.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment and document results.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine manual and automated blood tests with accuracy.
• Collect and analyze specimens per testing policies.
• Maintain logs and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Follow safety guidelines and quality assurance procedures.
