Job summary

Stillwater Medical Center Healthcare Authority is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our clinical laboratory team in the evenings. This full-time position involves performing routine and advanced tests in the General Laboratory under supervision, ensuring accurate results and proper QC, and supporting lab operations.

MLS candidates must be registered (or registry eligible) with ASCP, HEW, AMT or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be registered or registry eligible as MLT/MLS with ASCP, HEW, AMT or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced procedures in General Laboratory under supervision.
• Ensure accurate results and proper use of quality control materials.
• Correct errors and maintain a variety of instruments.
• May supervise/assist other technologists during absences; participate in weekend/holiday rotations.
