Quest Diagnostics in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking a full-time Medical Lab Technician to perform routine testing across chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, coagulation, molecular, and microbiology. The role requires an AS degree in Medical Lab Technology and MT/MLT certification or eligibility.

The position includes patient sample processing, instrument maintenance, and collaboration within a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment.

Qualifications

Good understanding of laboratory procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot problems, to identify cause and synthesize alternatives.
Clear and effective communication.
Ability to react positively with coworkers.
Ability to use independent judgement to solve problems.
Able to manage time, prioritize, and delegate.
Good computer skills a plus.
Knowledge in Epic and MediaLab is a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs routine testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, coagulation, molecular, and microbiology.
Assist with specimen processing as needed.
Follow employer and hospital policies.
Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Main responsibility will be duties in the clinical laboratory.
Additional duties will include assisting supervisor/manager with special projects/assignments.
