Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician I in Coon Rapids, MN. Monday–Friday with rotating mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary range $25.00–$36.12 per hour, with bonus potential based on performance. Responsibilities include performing routine analytical tests under supervision and reporting results via the LIS. Requirements include an Associate’s degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, with ASCP preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology is required.
• ASCP certification is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Biology or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report analytical tests under supervision in accordance with SOPs.
• Support specimen handling, processing, test analysis, and record-keeping.
• Maintain turnaround times and report STAT/critical results to clients.
• Document QC analyses and ensure instrument function and data accuracy.
• Notify supervision of any testing issues and deviations.
• Enter results into LIS for physician review.
