Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology or related field preferred.
• 1 year clinical experience (high complexity testing) preferred.
• Laboratory experience in hematology/chemistry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting and record-keeping.
• Maintain records that proficiency testing samples are tested as patient specimens.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
• Review and release test results.
• Comply with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and notify supervisor.

BS in Medical Technology

BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology

ASSOCIATES degree in a Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
