Medical Lab Technician - Full time- Third shift

Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Manager, performs laboratory testing in various sections of the laboratory, conducts control testing, and initiates troubleshooting for problem areas. The following outlines the primary responsibilities but is not an exhaustive list of all work requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: A.S. degree in MLT / B.S. degree in Medical Technology, or in chemical, physical, or biological sciences with clinical training in an approved school by ASCP.
• License/Registration or Certification: Registered by ASCP preferred.
• Skills and Abilities: Competency in laboratory components relevant to the role; effective verbal communication with patients and staff; ability to perform calculations; good visual perception and acuity, including color spectrum recognition.
