Job Fair – Lab Technicians/Warehouse Needed (Tuesday January 21st, 2025- 11:30am-3pm)

ABB OPTICAL GROUP is hosting a JOB FAIR/OPEN HOUSE on Tuesday January 21st from 11:30am-3pm at our Erlanger, KY location. Our address is 4530 Olympic Boulevard: Building C. Erlanger, KY 40148.

Lab Technicians -

Full time positions are available Monday - Friday 10:30am - 7:00pm.

As a Lab Technician, you will have the opportunity to train in multiple areas that fit your skill set. Some potential duties include:

  1. Become a machine operator and operate state of the art CNC machinery.
  2. Receive incoming frames and orders to start our manufacturing process.
  3. Ship lenses and frames to multiple locations across the United States.
  4. Operate state of the art equipment in thin film coating processes.
  5. Assemble multiple types of frames using hand tools.
  6. Learn multiple processes for different lens types and manufacturers.
  7. Learn quality control process.
  8. Work safely and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Learn job skills that last a lifetime and cross train in additional areas around the lab.

As a Full time Lab Technician, you will be eligible for:

  1. Pay based on experience plus up to $2 shift differential for second and third shift.
  2. 3 weeks of paid time off per year, which increases as you grow with ABB.
  3. Full Benefit package including health, dental, disability, life, and vision insurance.
  4. 401K retirement plan with a 3 ½% company match.
  5. Up to $5,250 of tuition reimbursement per year.
  6. Temperature controlled work environment with casual dress.
  7. Promotions as soon as 90 days after your hire date by following our Career Pathways program.

To become a Lab Technician, you will need to:

  1. Be a team player with a positive attitude who strives to perform at your best daily.
  2. Have attention to detail, accuracy, repetition, and fine motor skills.
  3. Be able to stand for most of your shift and work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout your shift.
  5. Have the ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $15.50.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
