Job summary

Sanitas in Orlando, FL is seeking a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician for our standalone outpatient facility in Winter Park. This on-site role involves processing orders across diverse patient cases, performing lab analyses, and ensuring timely, accurate results.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in laboratory science, an active Florida MT/MLT license, 3+ years generalist experience, and a current BLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's degree in laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory or related field preferred.
• Active Florida MT or MLT license with ASCP/AMT/AAB.
• 3+ years experience as technologist/technician.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency.
• BLS certification or within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Complete orders on a variety of patients from minor treatment to acutely ill.
• Operate lab analyzers with accuracy and quality control.
• Participate in QA activities per supervisor instructions.
• Prepare specimens for transport to reference labs.
• Maintain and update lab/reagent inventory as assigned.
• Complete daily checklists and participate in morning huddles.
• Follow procedures and safety policies; reference protocols.
