Job summary

UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford, IL, seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician for a 100% FTE evening shift (3:00PM-11:30PM), Monday–Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. On-site position at SwedishAmerican Hospital. Requires an Associate's Degree in laboratory science or medical technology and HS diploma or equivalent.

Job description

Work Schedule:

• 100% FTE, full-time, evening shift
• Monday-Friday, 3:00PM-11:30PM

• You will work at UW Health's SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in laboratory science or medical technology. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• One year experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician or relevant laboratory experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Medical Laboratory Technician certification by the board of American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or similar agency preferred. Preferred
