Job summary

Adena Health System is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for the Adena Main Lab in Chillicothe. This part-time, 50% night-shift position offers hands-on patient care within a collaborative team that values clinical autonomy and meaningful community impact.

The MLT will perform laboratory procedures with QA oversight, assist in specimen collection, maintain instruments, and act as a knowledge resource for lab services. Certification and related education are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• ASCP certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Clinical lab experience preferred to support smooth patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory procedures using established QA protocols.
• Assist in collection of specimens and instrument maintenance.
• Serve as a resource for laboratory services within the main lab.
