Job summary

Exceptional Community Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for full-time night shifts in the state-of-the-art laboratory. The role focuses on delivering accurate diagnostic testing and maintaining high QC standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in appropriate sciences, an MLT/MLS license, and prefer ASCP certification, with strong computer and QC skills and a collaborative team mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in appropriate sciences required.
• Current MLT/MLS license required.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Moderate complexity lab experience preferred.
• Strong computer and QC skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate diagnostic testing for medical staff.
• Perform quality control and equipment maintenance per protocols.
• Document and maintain accurate records on equipment and specimens.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab environment.
• Comply with CLIA, COLA, HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Participate in a team environment with staffing flexibility.
