Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology; or equivalent training meeting CLIA requirements.
• 0–2 years of experience in healthcare/clinical setting or related field.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical laboratory tests, procedures, and analyses to support diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory results and calibrate equipment as needed.
• Maintain compliance with protocols and quality standards and perform quality control studies.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment to support patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver timely and precise diagnostic information.
• Assist in orientation and training of new laboratory staff.
• Report equipment or computer malfunctions to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing professional development.
