Qualifications

• Graduate of NCCLS approved training program.
• Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• ASCP MLT certification or eligible within 180 days is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as subject matter expert for the assigned area and assists others.
• Analyzes patient and quality control specimens and records results timely.
• Coordinates quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and maintains readiness.
• Instructs, orients and mentors staff and students as applicable.
• Performs phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed.
