Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Medical Lab Technician in the Dallas area to conduct routine and complex laboratory tests across toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology and microbiology for patient diagnosis and treatment. You will perform procedures in one or more lab sections, maintain quality controls and calibrate equipment, ensuring accurate results and adherence to testing procedures in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Certificate is required.
• Certification as Medical Lab Scientist or MLT is noted.
• Hospital experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
• Produce accurate results in hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology and other areas as designated.
• Maintain quality results by running standards and controls, calibrating equipment, and monitoring quality control procedures.
