The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration with clinicians and staff, with opportunities to participate in quality improvement and education of new team members.

Expect to handle pre-analytical and analytical steps, maintain equipment, and assist with proficiency testing while upholding regulatory and corporate compliance

Qualifications

• Experience with laboratory testing procedures and equipment.
• Ability to follow compliance plans and protect patient information.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• English communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies including PPE and hazardous waste handling.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Evaluate new lab techniques and assist data collection.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and spaces through cleaning and disinfection.
• Facilitate workflow and support education to clinical staff; perform pre-analytical activities.
• Conduct post-analytical activities related to laboratory testing; report results and provide support.
• Complete tests and procedures accurately per SOPs.
• Participate in proficiency testing and adhere to regulations.
