Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist to support a client’s facility in Murfreesboro, TN. This 3-month contract offers potential for contract-to-hire with an established healthcare organization.

Position requires ASCP or AMT certification and a Bachelor's Degree, with 3–8 years of relevant experience. Shift is Mon-Fri, evenings/nights, with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimen integrity and determine acceptability for testing.
• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing per SOPs.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab instrumentation.
• Analyze results with sound technical judgment.
• Prepare, validate, and assess reagents, calibrators, and QC materials.
• Ensure timely reporting of patient test results.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and QC procedures.
• Monitor inventory and replenish supplies.
• Support specimen processing and lab workflow.
• Maintain safety protocols and PPE usage.
