Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field from a CLIA-approved program.
• MLS certification or eligibility through a nationally recognized agency (preferably ASCP).
• Externship program completed (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs analytical tests on biological specimens, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Determines specimen acceptability and flags abnormal results per protocol.
• Performs quality control and maintains a safe, compliant lab environment.
• Operates and troubleshoots laboratory equipment; supports patient safety and confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned.
