Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona (SQL/LSA) seeks a Medical Lab Scientist in Brush, CO for a full-time daytime role. The incumbent will perform testing, calibrate instrumentation, and ensure regulatory compliance in a CLIA-certified lab.

The candidate should hold MLS/MT or categorical certification, with a Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or related field, and may have phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology, or chemical/biological science with eligible credentials.
• MLS or categorical certification, or completion certificate from an accredited MLS program.
• Foreign credentials require evaluation (IERF) for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing accurately according to policies and performance standards.
• Assist with startup, calibration and instrument accuracy.
• Participate in problem solving and quality assurance activities.
• Monitor abnormal patient/ QC results and ensure result accuracy.
• Monitor inventory and assist with financial data for the department.
• Provide educational information to internal and external customers; participate in staff meetings.
