Job summary

The Recruiting Hive in Davenport, IA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on medical laboratory analyzers and automated robotic lab instrumentation.

The role requires electronics/electro-mechanical troubleshooting, overnight travel, and at least 3 years in field service; compensation includes a base salary of $65K–$85K plus overtime and a bonus plan along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
Overnight travel will be required.
Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
Establish a good customer relations foundation.
Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
Providesbasic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation
