Job summary

Central New Mexico Community College is seeking CNM faculty to deliver high quality medical laboratory science instruction aligned with student success, retention, and graduation goals. Full-time faculty perform instructional duties and contribute to college service in collaboration with staff and external partners to improve learning outcomes.

The position requires a clinical laboratory science degree, active certification, and at least two years of relevant experience; travel between campus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related clinical field.
• Current ASCP or ASCPi Board certification as MLT/MLS or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of clinical laboratory experience or equivalent teaching experience.
• Ability to travel regularly between CNM facilities and clinical sites.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with partners and students.

Responsibilities

• Effectively prepare, teach, grade, and assess student learning in courses assigned.
• Create and model a quality learning environment for diverse learners.
• Structure classes and curriculum to meet program outcomes and course outcomes.
• Prepare and utilize instructional materials and media.
• Attend meetings and participate in college service activities.
