Cook Children’s Health Care System in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Insurance Specialist/Receptionist to manage patient flow, answer calls, and schedule visits. Responsibilities include data entry, insurance verification, and processing claims in a busy clinic setting.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in a medical office, knowledge of insurance plans, and basic computer skills. Epic experience is preferred. Monday–Thursday 7:45am–4:30pm; Friday 7:45am–2:30pm, 40 hours/week.

• Ability to manage front office functions and patient flow.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee patient flow and answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Schedule appointments and perform data entry of patient demographics.
• Verify insurance coverage and process referrals as needed.
• Process and follow up on insurance claims and collections.
• Adhere to front office policies and procedures.
