Job summary

Xtalks is seeking a software engineer to develop end-to-end medical imaging tools for precise implant and electrode planning. You will handle importing, managing, fusing, and visualizing 3D medical images and connect preoperative imaging with robotic and intraoperative tracking systems.

The role emphasizes practical linear algebra, 3D visualization, and deploying clinician-facing software with a focus on scalable infrastructure and robust data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience coding in Python, Rust, or JavaScript.
• Experience manipulating and visualizing 3D objects; familiarity with medical imaging formats.
• Experience with container orchestration and infrastructure development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end medical imaging software and tools for implant and electrode placement planning.
• Build clinician-facing applications and connect preoperative imaging with surgical robot and tracking hardware.
