Job summary

Shields Health, a Massachusetts-based medical imaging provider, seeks a Medical Sales Representative to build and maintain relationships with referring physicians and staff, educate on imaging technology, and meet annual sales objectives. Qualifications

• 2 years of prior medical sales experience.
• Strong written and verbal communications; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Skilled in tactful persuasion.
• Skilled in the use of automated computer systems and software applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work under pressure and deadlines.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be an organized self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed objectives set by management annually.
• Establish a territory management plan.
• Establish and continually foster relationships with referring physicians and their staff and explain marketing materials.
• Seek out new physician offices/groups to contact.
• Educate the referring community about imaging technology developments and benefits for patients.
• Participate with Shields Marketing Representatives in regional calls and marketing blitzes.
• Track and monitor referral volume and identify current trends.
• Update Competitive Survey Report regularly.
• Update the Shields Marketing Database (Hubspot) as changes occur.
• Participate in weekly conference calls and quarterly Marketing meetings.
• Attend monthly staff meetings to report on marketing initiatives and feedback from referring community.
• Attend quarterly Marketing Strategy Review Meetings.
• Respond promptly to voicemail, text and email messages.
• Provide accurate and timely expense reporting.
• Supply information for quarterly JV Board meetings.
