Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio invites applications for a medical genetics faculty position within the Division of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Genetics of the College of Osteopathic Medicine (XUCOM). These are 12-month, including tenure and non-tenure track possibilities, beginning June 2027.

The successful candidate will design and deliver basic science curriculum, develop assessments, mentor students, and contribute to scholarship and service in a Jesuit Catholic university

Qualifications

• Scholarly activity in genetics or molecular biology.
• 1–3 years teaching experience in medical education or graduate education.
• Evidence of student mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers curricular content within the College of Osteopathic Medicine
• Involved in the creation of assessments within the curriculum of the College of Osteopathic Medicine
• Advises and mentors students of XUCOM
• Contributes to the mission of the college through teaching, scholarship and service
• Other duties as assigned

Education

Terminal degree in discipline related to medical education (PhD, MD, DO)
