Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Beaumont, TX is seeking a licensed Plumber to maintain and repair plumbing, mechanical and distribution systems across a facility.

The role covers preventive maintenance, testing, installation, and troubleshooting within an Engineering and Technical Services context. You will repair and install water systems, conduct safety inspections, train staff for light maintenance, and assist contractors on projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 4–5 years' related experience.
• Journeyman plumbing certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Medical gas certification and backflow certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot water and medical gas supply and distribution system.
• Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
• Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
• Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.
• Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
• Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.
• Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements.
• Complete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.
• Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.
