Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a licensed plumber to perform preventive maintenance, repair, testing and troubleshooting of plumbing, medical gas distribution, and related systems across our facilities.

The role supports the Engineering and Technical Services team and requires strong adherence to codes and HSE practices. You will install new water systems, fixtures, and piping per blueprints and specifications, conduct safety inspections, and assist on projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level required.
• Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.
• Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
• Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
• Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.
• Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
• Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.
• Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements.
• Complete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.
• Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.
