Job summary

Select Physical Therapy in San Francisco is hiring a Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients, schedule visits, and manage communications with attorneys, insurers, translators, and leadership teams. The role emphasizes accurate co-pay collection, payer approvals, and insurance verifications in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The position is full-time, weekdays, with a 7am-4pm schedule and a compensation range of $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year medical office experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday (7am-4pm)

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00/hour based on experience
