Job summary

Ascension in Austin, TX, is seeking a Front Desk Associate for the Seton Northwest Orthopedics clinic. The role supports patient flow and handles check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling in a fast-paced clinic.

You will collect co-pays, coordinate follow-up care, and perform daily opening/closing procedures to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming patient experience.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Manage patient check-in and check-out workflows to deliver a welcoming, efficient front-desk experience and maintain steady clinic flow.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits eligibility prior to appointments to ensure accurate billing and prevent care delays.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up care to support continuity of care and maintain optimal provider schedules.
• Collect co-payments, deductibles and self-pay balances at the time of service to maintain practice revenue integrity.
• Execute daily clinic opening and closing procedures to maintain administrative readiness, secure patient records and prepare the facility for patient care.
