Ascension is hiring for a front-desk administrator in Austin, TX, at Seton Northwest in Orthopedics. The role supports patient flow from check-in to check-out, verifies insurance, schedules appointments, collects payments, and maintains accurate records to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position emphasizes excellent customer service, accuracy in billing, and collaboration with providers to sustain efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is high school diploma equivalency or 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to verify insurance coverage and benefits eligibility before appointments.
• Excellent customer service and administrative skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient check-in and check-out workflows to deliver a welcoming, efficient front-desk experience and maintain steady clinic flow.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits eligibility prior to appointments to ensure accurate billing and prevent care delays.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up care to support continuity of care and maintain optimal provider schedules.
• Collect co-payments, deductibles and self-pay balances at the time of service to maintain practice revenue integrity.
• Execute daily clinic opening and closing procedures to maintain administrative readiness, secure patient records and prepare the facility for patient care.
