Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent front desk experience in a medical office setting.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR); experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and help with check-in and check-out processes.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments.
• Answer multi-line phones and route calls appropriately.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations.
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
• Manage incoming and outgoing faxes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby area.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Supervisor.
