Orthotics LTD, a busy orthotics and prosthetics practice in the United States, seeks a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact at the front desk. You will welcome patients, check in/out, assist with intake forms, and help keep the EMR up to date.

Qualifications

• Prior medical office or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong EMR/data entry and organizational skills.
• Experience with insurance verification/authorizations is a plus.
• Knowledge of orthotics and prosthetics is helpful but not required.
• Excellent communication, ability to multitask in a busy office.
• Sensitivity to the needs of persons with disabilities.
• Team-oriented but able to work independently.

• Welcome, check in, and check out patients with professionalism and care.
• Assist patients with intake forms and enter information accurately into our EMR system.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments.
• Answer phones and address patient questions promptly and courteously.
