New York Health is seeking a Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our Wading River, NY team. You will welcome patients, handle appointments, manage payments, and maintain accurate EMR records in a fast-paced primary care setting.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and 2+ years of patient-facing reception experience, with strong communication skills and a preference for bilingual English/Spanish speakers. This role involves occasional float to other NYH offices.

Formación

• High School diploma with at least 2 years of patient-facing reception experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Open and close the office daily per procedures.
• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, schedule appointments.
• Collect co-pays and balance daily finances.
• Assist patients with forms and documentation.
• Maintain patient records in the EMR system.
• Monitor physician schedules and visit lists for appointments.
• Operate with HIPAA confidentiality and privacy standards.
• Support other daily roles as needed.
