Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks a detail-oriented Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our Amherst and Northampton, MA clinics.

You will greet patients, schedule appointments, enter data into the EMR, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and route calls efficiently. This full-time, on-site role requires HIPAA compliance, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities are essential.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly to create a positive first impression.
• Schedule appointments, reminders, and rescheduling as needed.
• Input patient information into the EMR accurately and securely.
• Verify insurance details, collect co-pays, and address billing questions.
• Handle incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Maintain patient records with HIPAA-compliant confidentiality.
• Manage patient flow to minimize wait times at the front desk.
• Assist providers and staff with administrative tasks as needed.
• Perform basic medical assistant duties such as taking vital signs.
• Travel between Amherst and Northampton clinics.
