Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. seeks a Customer Service Technician to manage delivery, installation and ongoing maintenance of medical equipment, oxygen and supplies for patients at home. The role includes patient instruction and handling customer inquiries in person and over the phone.

Ideal candidates will assist with scheduling, routing, and documentation while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Travel to patient homes is required as part of the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Experience with medical equipment or healthcare environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivers, sets up and maintains equipment at delivery addresses using company/personal vehicle.
• Educates patients/caregivers on safe use and maintenance of equipment.
• Responds to patient and referral source inquiries via phone and in person.
• Completes delivery paperwork, route sheets and related documentation.
• Coordinates insurance verification (Medicare/Medicaid/private) as needed.
