Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. You will perform tasks and communication related to patient information intake concerning the service of durable medical equipment and respiratory products, coordinating with patients/clients, co-workers, and referral sources regarding patient services and third-party reimbursement.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with updating respiratory grid
  • Clear previous day's route and check all paperwork for accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate with patients/clients and referral sources both verbally and in writing to address questions and concerns
  • Complete SOPs/CMNs and document on tracking logs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards
  • Coordinate patient information, process paperwork for billing, and prepare batch reports for deliveries
  • Maintain referral logs and monitor office supplies
  • Prepare deposits and invoices
  • Process paperwork, confirm tickets, input new patient setups, and assemble charts
  • Provide service for retail/walk-in equipment requests and technical assistance to customers
  • Verify insurance coverage and work with outside agencies to resolve issues
  • May be required to cover on-call duties, drive a company vehicle, and make home deliveries
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Employment is contingent on:

  • Background investigation
  • Drug screening (if applicable)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record (if applicable)
Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with medical equipment, billing, or in the medical field
  • One year of related work experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
