Job summary

The University of Florida's College of Medicine seeks an Academic Program Specialist I to support undergraduate medical education. You will coordinate clinical learning experiences across clerkships, electives, preceptorships, and PA rotations, working with faculty, clinical sites, and students to ensure a high-quality educational experience.

Responsibilities include managing scheduling, Canvas/LMS course management, evaluations, grading, and student records across Gainesville and Jacksonville

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
• Excellent computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and collaboration with faculty, students, and staff

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling for clinical preceptorships, electives, and clerkships across UF Medical and PA programs
• Develop and maintain LMS platforms and evaluation systems
• Oversee grading workflows and posting of scores in multiple systems
• Advise students and clerkship directors on program requirements and milestones
• Maintain accurate student records and support accreditation reporting
