Job summary

Augusta University is seeking a Clerkship Program Specialist to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support for undergraduate medical education programs within the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine on the Health Sciences Campus in Augusta, GA.

You will coordinate clerkships, externships, observerships, and related student experiences, ensuring smooth scheduling, onboarding, and compliance.

Qualifications

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and a minimum of four years' progressively responsible office support experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate medical student clerkships, externships, visiting student rotations, observerships, and allied health student experiences.
Manage course administration and maintain student records in Banner and One45.
Provide administrative support to Clerkship Director and department educational initiatives; assist with curriculum development and accreditation activities.
Attend monthly coordinator meetings and manage course CRNs, rotations, and related data entry in CIR systems.
Handle onboarding, orientations, access requirements, and student advising/awards processes.
