Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Medical Education Student Support Coordinator to oversee rotations and onboarding for medical students. You will coordinate with internal teams and external education leaders, ensuring LCME compliance and maintaining the student database.

You'll identify hospital-based resources for students, manage relations with schools, and support continuous improvement in medical education processes at Grady Health System.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years job related experience including Undergraduate Medical Education or Graduate Medical Education.
  • 5+ years preferred.
  • BA in Health Education.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee site processes for Undergraduate Medical Education student rotations at Grady Health System.
  • Coordinate onboarding of medical students and manage the student database.
  • Collaborate with external education leadership, student affairs, clerkship directors, and course coordinators.
  • Maintain knowledge of LCME requirements and optimize LCME compliance at Grady.
  • Manage the Undergraduate Medical Education student database in the system.
  • Work with external Student Affairs offices to maintain updated student lists.
  • Identify, organize, and optimize hospital-based resources for medical students.

If you want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.Job Summary• The Medical Education Student Support Coordinator assists with overseeing site processes for Undergraduate Medical Education student rotations at Grady Health System, working with both internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the onboarding of medical students and manage the student database.MEDICAL EDUCATION STUDENT SUP COORDINATORPartners collaboratively with external education leadership, student affairs, clerkship directors, and course coordinators to maintain good relations, continuous communication, and to develop processes that help create a welcoming environment for medical student education and learning.Identify, organize, and optimize hospital-based resources for medical students.
