Job summary

EVERSANA INTOUCH is seeking a Medical Editor to provide medical editing, copyediting, proofreading and claim checking for pharmaceutical advertising materials across digital and print channels.

As the brand’s main editorial voice, you will ensure editorial consistency, FDA compliance, and timely delivery for multiple clients and brands while shaping brand style guidelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of current AMA style and familiarity with FDA requirements for drug promotion.
• Proactive, independent and able to perform literature searches and understand medical literature.
• Digitally savvy with excellent verbal, written, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical editing, copyediting, proofreading, and claim (fact) checking for digital and print pharmaceutical advertising materials.
• Edit and review internal and external presentations and corporate communications.
• Ensure editorial consistency and FDA compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Own the editorial process for assigned brand(s).
• Serve as the main editorial voice for the brand(s).
• Successfully complete editing, claim checking, and submission tasks for various clients and brands.
• Create, maintain, and communicate brand style guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of editorial best practices.
• Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development and proactive bias management.
