Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Medical Driver in Aberdeen, SD to support transporting lab specimens and medical supplies. You will spend most of your day in a company vehicle, load and unload, and follow schedules and safety rules to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires a clean driving record, an active driver’s license for at least 3 years, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend availability is a plus, with part-time hours and on-demand shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Able to follow procedures closely and use technology.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to drive non-commercial vehicle in varying weather conditions.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination depending on location.
• Must have a clean driving history.
• Pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to transport lab specimens and materials.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items.
• Follow operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Route duties may vary based on client and business needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Support a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
