Job summary

MedSpeed seeks a Medical Driver in Mountain View, CA to transport lab specimens and medical materials in a company vehicle. The role emphasizes safe driving, on-time delivery, and professional client interaction.

You will use a handheld scanner, adhere to schedules, and work with a team to support healthcare logistics. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 11am–7:30pm, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and ability to adapt to new devices.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Demonstrated safe, courteous driving and route planning.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials.
• Use a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload vehicle with appropriate equipment.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Adapt routes based on client needs and company priorities.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to ensure smooth operations.
