Job summary

MedSpeed in Appleton, WI is hiring a Medical Driver to join our nationwide healthcare logistics team. You will drive a company vehicle, transport specimens and medical items, and use a handheld scanner to track shipments.

The role offers a full-time schedule Monday–Friday, 5:30am–1:30pm, training, and opportunities for advancement. We value reliability, teamwork, and safety as core parts of our culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates.
• Must be able to pass initial and random drug and alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive company-owned vehicle and transport lab specimens and materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items.
• Observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle.
• Route duties vary and may change across routes they may be assigned.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability with teammates and clients.
