Job summary

MedSpeed, a healthcare logistics company, is hiring a Medical Driver in Eden Prairie, MN. The role involves safely driving a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, records, and supplies on a Monday–Friday schedule, with a standard 9:00am–6:00pm day and a potential +$1/hour for heavy routes.

You will operate a handheld scanner, follow strict policies, present a professional image, and support a collaborative team in a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years old with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Must pass drug & alcohol screening and have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials in a company vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Adapt routes as needed based on client and business needs.
