Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Site Medical Director for Ware State Prison in Waycross, GA. The role provides clinical direction, oversees medical services, and supervises medical staff at the site under the Statewide Medical Director.

You will collaborate with the Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient, compliant care, participate in CQI and Medical staff committees, and help maintain a secure, structured setting for a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) or General Practitioner with experience.
• Active and unrestricted Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration and pass credentialing/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction and supervise medical staff at the site.
• Direct clinical services for patients and ensure quality care delivery.
• Collaborate with the Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient and compliant medical services.
• Participate in CQI, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics committees.
