Centurion Health is seeking a Site Medical Director for Lee State Prison in Leesburg, GA. The role provides clinical direction, oversees on-site medical services, and supervises medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

The Medical Director will partner with the Health Services Administrator, participate in CQI, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics committees, and assist with credentialing and background checks.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted GA Medical license required
• Ability to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction for the site and direct clinical services for patients; supervise medical staff under supervision of Statewide Medical Director
• Collaborate with the Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services
• Participate in committees such as Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested

We are excited to announce that we will now also be expanding our services to include medical care. Centurion is actively seeking a Site Medical Director at Lee State Prison located in Leesburg, Ga. The Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements, direct clinical services for patients, and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
